Local Rules Sheet
All U.S.G.A. rules will govern play, along with the following local rules.
- Out of bounds is defined by white stakes, perimeter walls, fences and roads. A ball that comes to rest on or across a road is deemed to be out of bounds.
- The following shall be treated as immovable obstructions when not located in a hazard:
- All cables and wrappings attached to trees.
- Cart paths and rocks embedded adjacent to cart paths
- Concrete and all areas consisting rock embedded in concrete.
- All stairs constructed inside and outside of bunkers.
- Rock drains on the right side of #16 Peaks and #13 Ranch
- Free relief shall be granted in the event the following situations affect your swing or swing path (does not include relief for stance):
- If your ball comes to rest where the grass meets the desert edge outside of a hazard. Relief must be taken in same condition, i.e. grass-to-grass or desert-to-desert.
- If your ball comes to rest within a tree well located in grassed areas.
- If your ball comes to rest in an aeration hole in turf areas.
- If your ball comes to rest in an unmarked piece of sod.
If relief is taken, the player must lift the ball and drop it, without penalty, within one club-length of and not nearer the hole than the nearest point of relief.
- Stones in bunkers are considered movable obstructions.
- Tonto Verde Golf Club does allow yardage-measuring devices to be used in all daily play and all tournament play.
- Carts are to remain 50 yards from all tee box and green areas and on the paths on par threes. Please no carts in the parking lot.
