The first hole is representative of what the peaks course has to offer throughout the round in its tight fairways and desert terrain bordering the fairways. Ideal tee shot will claim the right side of the fairway to avoid the large Ironwood tree on the left. The front area just before the green is soft and may stop approach shots. No surprises on the green. It’s friendly and speed may be the largest determination for a par.
