Ranch Course

Ranch Course

Our Ranch Course opened in Tonto Verde in 1999 and provides a great contrast to the Peaks Course. The name was derived from the Box Bar Ranch, a working ranch that has been integral to the area since the early 1900’s. It also features stunning views of the Mazatzal Mountains at every turn. Again, Gary Panks was called upon to design this course which features wider landing areas off the tees and larger greens with subtle breaks than the Peaks Course. Strategically placed bunkers, water and dessert areas laced throughout the course can be challenging for even the most experienced golf; however, five tees and seven different tee combinations provide options for golfers of all ages and handicaps and make the Ranch Course a very playable and fun course.

Both courses have been carved from the desert and have been designed to incorporate much of the natural, desert terrain creating a true, desert golf experience. Yet, the Peaks and Ranch Courses are distinctly different and, the combination of the two, provide members and their guests with unending variety and interest in their golf game.
